• Hi-res Cars images New set news Posted by Huw, Feb 16 2011 4:44PM

I don't know where grogall finds them, but he's come up trumps again with nice images of seven of the Cars sets due out soon. I've added them here and you can see the hi-res versions on Brickshelf.Apparently there'll be 14 sets in total, which is a massive number for the first year of a theme. However I suspect this will be the only batch of them. Until Cars 3, anyway.
As you'll see there are some nice new parts and interesting coloured pieces. The decorations are printed, not stickers. Is that good or bad? I suppose it depends on whether you intend reusing the pieces.
(thanks r4-g9 for the news)
