有著不同時代建築風格是迪化街的一大特色。若從建築年代分類可分為清代、民初及三零年代三種不同風格。
Taipei Dihua Street is known as having different era architectural styles. Buildings can be divided into three different styles, the earliest start from the Qing Dynasty, then the early years of Republic of China and 1930s.

清代型建築騎樓大多由紅磚柱支撐，上方懸掛的是匾額店號。
Qing-type arcade mostly supported by red brick, and store name is always hanging above.

二樓大多使用拱窗、以磚砌成的柱子、點綴勳章飾來彰顯氣勢及富貴。
The arched windows were mostly used on the second floor, with brick pillars,
and decorated to highlight the momentum and wealth.

民初型店舖外觀具有西歐巴洛克式風格，當時人稱之為番仔樓，外觀華麗，裝飾精良。典型的街屋大多採用巴洛克式浮雕山牆，山牆上有華麗的裝飾，大多採用象徵平安吉祥或是招財辟邪的圖樣。
Dynasty type store appearance with Western baroque style, looks gorgeous and well decorated. Typical street houses mostly used baroque reliefs gable with ornate decoration. They usually used a symbol of peace or Lucky evil pattern.

此棟建築物並沒有仿照特定的實體建築，只是將迪化街的特色隨性表現出來，
走過整條迪化街，你會發現除了南北貨之外，也有一些Coffee shop穿插其中，
在這麼古老的建築內喝杯咖啡，吃個下午茶應該有特別懷舊的感覺吧~~
When doing this work, I did not follow any of a specific physical building, but just manifested as I wished to show out the characteristics of Dihua Street.
Walking through the entire Dihua Street, you will find in addition to north-south goods, but also have some Coffee shop interspersed among them.
To enjoy a cup of coffee or afternoon tea in such an old building should have a special nostalgic feeling. |
