大家好我是Eric, 在最後一刻交件真的是（又）很驚險感覺每次有這種大型比賽我都是比賽單位給我幾個月
然後自己要死不死的在最後一個月才開工XD
Hello guys i'm Eric. I submitted (once again) the work just a bit before the deadline.
Indeed, I managed to complete this creation from start to finish in just under a month.
Feels like I do this kind of self-torture every time,
even when it's a big competition where I was given much time
to make the actual work( a bit like how I manage my homework too lol).
這次的作品我最想要感謝的分別是是 達達、李paul、carol wang 、 惠芳、阿雄
你們給我無論是物質上的支援還是個人建議回饋都是我非常非常感激的（真心話）
沒有你們就不會有今天這個作品，絕對不會有
（廢言/感言就到此為止）
So special thanks and shout out to the friends that helped me through the month
I appreaciate those helps from the bottom of my heart, and do not take them for granted.

進入正文吧：
我這個作品的出發理念是一個我每天上學都會看到的現代建築
如圖，這個現待建築最大的特色就是好幾條筆直立起來排在一起的黑鐵管
The starting idea behind this creation is this modern building I walk past every day when I go to school.
As shown in the pic below, the main feature that stood out was the rows of vertical long black bars.
我每天經時都會喵一眼，想想他可以給我什麼靈感，
當時剛好遇到了官方的8x8迷你街景比賽，於是就用手上現有的零件做了以下這個小建築
這個小建築主要的特色正是我剛剛提到的建築的元素：black vertical bars
I often glance at them, contemplating in the hope of getting some sort of an inspiration.
And then there's the announcement of this rebrick mini modular contest,
so I made with my own available parts this little piece of architecture.
The main feature of this mini modular was the element that I mentioned earlier : black vertical bars
這也正是我這次比賽作品的原形、出發點
This is the brute form, the starting point of my moc dedicated for this big competition...
為了這次比賽我就決定把這個作品放大成32x32的街景系列規格（旁邊可以插pin接在一起的建築）
這個作品也就在我熱血的決定下誕生了：

I decided to expand the original 8x8 into a full sized 32x32 modular building
*drum roll please*...:
共四樓（對，他真的就是8x8比賽作品的放大版不用懷疑）
a total of 4 floors(yeah, this is without the shadow of a doubt the scaled-up version of my 8x8 mini modular)
招牌特色的幾根黑棒子（咦）和白色建築的對比正是這棟建築的主題
我決定叫他第11個街景是因為我認為他的現代風
剛好意味著街景系列在到達的10棟里程碑後重新的一個開始
The theme of this modualr are the black vertical bars motif that contrasts with the white mass.I named this "the 11th modular" due to the fact that it follows a modern theme, something that hasn't be seen yet in the official modular product line, signifying a form if rupture and continuation after the 10th-anniversary milestone of the productline has been reached a few month ago.
這同時也是我認為自己會想要住的夢想住宅，大家慢慢往下來看看為什麼吧！
This is at the same time an Ideal house I'd want to live in one day, as to why...continue to read to find out!

我們就一層一層的介紹吧！
Lets start presenting it layer by layer, shall' we! 一樓：車庫/樂高室 1st floor : garage/Lego room
我在前面用了一些花朵因為他們可以為作品增添不少生氣
磚牆也用了挺創新的做法
I added a few pots of flowers in the front to make the overall creation palette more vivid
The brick wall detail was created using some techniques I've seen on flickr.
我不想做個簡單用hinge或axis的手動車庫，
因為我認為真的是那樣的話就沒有那個驚喜感了
因此我用了類似大黑白的百貨公司電梯的概念
做出了這個我自己都認為有超級逼真效果的半自動車庫
I didn't really want to make a simple manual(where you use your hand to lift up) garage door using hinges or axis
I think that if that's what I really did, the surprise effect wouldn't really be there anymore.
Thus I implemented a concept similar to the one Big Black White used for the elevator in his shopping mall
Making at the end an semi-automatic garage door that even myself was convinced.
車庫的設計是我整個作品裡最有成就感的一部分
利用齒輪和 liftarm 零件做出了如驚喜般的效果
The fact of creating unexpected effects using gears and a liftarm piece,
made the garage the part I'm the most satisfied of in the whole build.
車子特寫：/close up shots on the car
車子沒有什麼特別的，就只是西門大黑白活動樂高消防贈品+cafe and bike shop車 的混合體
Nothing special about the car just a hybrid of the free promotional gift I got at Ximending's event and the small car for the cafe and bike shop
家具特寫：
在這個作品中我在家具這個部分費了很多的心思，
因為他們不僅僅有畫龍點睛的效果，
更是讓一個街景類作品可以『活』起來變得栩栩如生的關鍵
這麼一來我相信無論是不是樂高玩家的觀賞者都可以更輕易的去欣賞這個作品
Close up of the furniture:
I've put in a lot of thoughts in the furniture,
because not only it adds great detailing,
it is the key that made the whole creation more believable,
thus making the process of immersing into a smaller world easier for people that aren't into lego. ;)
家具不但有用梯子和SNOT零件做的紅椅，舒適的雙人暗紅沙發、黃拖鞋和鞋架外
還有迷你樂高模型，包括（我最想要的ㄏㄏ）UCS帝國戰艦、UCS千年鷹、horizon express等（但都買不起的嗚嗚）
帝國戰艦和千年鷹因為比例的問題分別是切半和用了2x2 round plate+人偶手+1x2 trans blue tile 做成。
應該不能再更小了吧（千年鷹我應該是網路上第一個這麼做的人！
Besides making more common furniture such as a bright red chair was built by using a ladder piece and SNOT elements,
comfortable dark red sofa, yellow slippers and their storage stand,
I also created miniatures of official lego sets
(eg: Millenium Falcon, made out of minifig hands, 2x2 round plate and 1x2 trans tile)
and a small table full of a little city
樂高室外面是一個開放空間，適合小朋友玩鬼抓人或其他遊戲的好地方
1x1 plate是因為要放人偶才會放在那裏的，才不是像我1x1 tile用完等原因啦（誤
Outside of the lego room is an open space, where kids can spend their times paying silly games such as tag.
I put some 1x1 plate instead of tiles, to make the figures easier to pose.

窗簾用的是橡皮筋
with rubber bands have been used for the curtains.
樂高室沒有沒有專屬的樹德（shuter）樂高櫃和樂高桌哪稱得上是真正的樂高室啊
（雖然他們沒有找我代言但我還是真的很推薦XD）
Drawers similar to shuter's are included, to store lego of course
夢寐以求等級盒組的展示櫃
The display stand for sets I can only dream about.. 二樓：廚房/客廳 second floor: kitchen/living room 去二樓可以透過外面和裡面的樓梯（剛剛上面看到的）
The second floor can be accessed via stairs located on the exterior or the set we've seen earlier behind the garage.
現代風的玻璃柵欄讓我噴了120元（感謝幾位跟我合作很久的朋友幫我緊急訂到1x2x3 wall element trans. brown!!!）
結果超愛的！！
The modern looking glass garde corps cost me 120 ntd (about 4 eur) (special thanks to the friend who sold me the 1x2x3 wall element trans. brown just before the deadline of the competition!!!)
I love the result!
小水池的配色讓這一區原本因色調所產生的沉重感減輕了不少後面用4L bar米色光劍做竹窗簾的點子是paul 的，
我之前用的方法太粗了，於是他就給我這個點子
雖然說好看逼真，但是用我剪了指甲的手來做這種好比外科醫師開刀的精密創作
讓我感覺根本就不像在作樂高反而像是在做手工藝品，
組到一半時整個不小心散掉要重新做會讓人想要去撞牆XDDD
（呼，不過好險只有NG一次）
The idea of including the little pond came from the moment I noticed this particular section's palette looked too gloomy.
The 4L bar lightsaber pieces created the stutter behind.
It's technically to make to the point where I think that the precision of my hand was comparable with ones of a surgeon's.
btw it looks so realistic, to the point where it doesn't look like lego.
I wanted to smash my head against a wall when it falls apart midway through.
(whew, luckily this sh*t only occurred once in the making)

二樓的家具走的是現代簡約風
這一點是Carol 提醒我的（我還記得
As Carol reminded me, the furniture of the second floors should have a modern an minimalistic approach
沙發是用簡單的1x4x1 curved slope+headlight構成的
The sofa was constructed by simply using 1x4x1 curved slope+headlight
廚房是米色白色的bar台+kitchenette
有放刀子的抽屜、洗碗用的水龍頭、火爐、烤箱和垃圾桶
可說是麻雀雖小但五藏齊全啊啊（可愛！！）

drawers to store knives, a stove, a tap for dishwashing and a trash can
we can say that it is just "like a sparrow, has all 5 organs despite its small size"(Chinese expression)

家具特寫：

以上3個家具物品都是很簡單好做的，
唯一較特別的是盆栽是用耶子樹的樹幹零件。
The 3 furnitures above were eaasy to build,
the only thing special is the pot made of a repurposed coconut trunk section.
簡約風書架+有特色的桌燈

後方有簡單但好看的的陽台

There's a simple but good looking balcony just behind
Up up here we go to the 4th and final floor! 4樓:游泳池+放鬆的好角落 fourth floor: the pool and a nice corner to chill out
通風設計使夏天冷氣帳單不再讓人那麼臉色沉重XD
The ventilation design makes the AC's facture chapear in summer XD
太陽能板可以讓這個走現代風的房子更能節能減碳！
The solar panel makes this modern house more environmentally friendly!
游泳池設計成有讓人一半泡在水裡的視覺效果
The swimming pool is designed in a way that we can have the illusion of really having a figure in the water
利用屋頂下的空間做成儲藏室，放著陰天用不到的太陽能板
The space under the roof is used to store the solar panel for more cloudy days.
背後不加任何東西我怕會過於單調，因此就加了蔓藤，希望大家會喜歡！
I added some vegetation climbing up the back to break up the monotone palette, hope you like it :) !!
