Black beam with yellow pieces going through the length of the ship is actually the only thing holding front and back together.
There is a secondary connection under the cockpit but that is only for reducing wobbling.
Unfortunately, altough the design seems coherent and solid, it is quite fragile.
This is an effect of using parts from older design variants, which were appropriate for those but not really for latest incarnation.

Actually he believe that trans-yellow or chrome gold would work, but as they are quite rare... just used whatever he had at hand.
