2013 Taiwan Creative Building Contest - Life of Night Market

嗨，大家好，我是呂布~很高興能參加這個比賽。
講到台灣，一定不得不提到夜晚色彩豐富的夜市，不僅可以在這大快朵頤一番，也能見識到臺灣特有的文化。
夜市是以在晚間作買賣的市場，由於台灣巷弄眾多，也因此在某些地區攤販會在巷子中間擺起攤子販售食物或是一些商品。

While mentioning Taiwan, night market is a famous feature known by everyone.
In night market we not only have a great feast but also understanding Taiwan culture.
Night markets are street markets operating at night and dedicated to shopping or eating.

這次作品想在一片綠板內表達出夜市的氣氛，也因為選擇了不太同街景兄弟的建築呈現方式。
那麼，就讓我好好介紹臺灣建築以及處於巷弄中的夜市吧!
In this work I wanna show all features of night market within a 32x32 baseplate, so I built it which is different from LEGO's Modular Buildings series. Let me briefly introduce it in the following sections and wish you can enjoy it!

一旦夕陽落下於台灣的西岸，夜市便悄悄地做好準備，讓人們的夜晚染上豐富的色彩。
Once setting sun vanishes in the ocean, night markets are prepared to bring laugh and wonderful night to people.

首先介紹這兩棟房子，於台灣鬧區常見的手機店和夜市中必備的服飾店。
台灣地小，也因此可以很常在夜市中見到店面很小的商家，這個服飾店就是反映了台灣生活較為狹窄的一面。
而手機業在台灣則是非常發達，人手一隻手機是常態，不過在這裡還是請大家盡量不要當低頭族喔!
台灣的老民房通常不高，兩至三層樓很普遍。左邊淺灰是台灣可以見到的老建築，右邊二樓可以看到台灣文化的其中一面:鐵窗。
手機店裡有賣很多外殼，在樂高世界中，我也準備了很多顏色的手機殼給他們用。
First we can see these two buildings, mobile store and cloth store.
In Taiwan there are usually few spaces for people, so we can see many stores in a small area. This cloth store reflects a aspect of Taiwan life.
Smart phones are now very popular in Taiwan, you can find out that everyone owns a smart phone even a child.
Old buildings in Taiwan often built in two or three floors. The left building in light bluish gray is a typical Taiwan old building, and people usually adds window railings for their windows to prevent thieves.
Mobile store sells lots of covers of smart phone. In LEGO world, I also prepare colorful covers for them :D

台灣房子的頂樓通常會有蓄水塔供給大家用水，沒水可是很痛苦的。鐵門常常會漆成紅色或藍色，我比較喜歡藍色。
手機店正在賣新手機!! 我是用HTC sensation，還滿囧的，SONY Xperia ultra Z快出啦我要換。
There is a reservoir lying on the top floor of building. In Taiwan we like painting the iron door in blue and red.
The mobile store is selling the newest smart phones!! Come and buy it to enjoy the convenient life!!

接著我們可以看到的是手搖飲料店跟傘店，在台灣充斥著各種飲料店，最夯的清玉我只喝過兩次(誤)
台灣一年四季雨量不少，身上帶把傘以備不時之需，要是真的忘了帶又碰上大雨，就去傘店買一隻吧!!不過晴天才有打九折喔。
在建築物的外面，特色招牌，空調機臺，水管都是顯而易見的，這也是台灣特色之一吧。
In the next, the beverage store and umbrella store are presented. In Taiwan, there are many tea bars can be chosen which you prefer.
There is usually raining in Taiwan all year, if you forget bring an umbrella when it rains cats and dogs outside, visiting an umbrella store and purchase one! By the way, umbrellas often sold in 10% off in a sunny day.
If you come to Taiwan, observing the building carefully, you can find many things attached to it. Such as signboards, air conditions, and pipes, and etc.

飲料店通常會準備各式各樣的茶，口味可以依個人喜好調整，像我都喝去冰微糖。
順便一提，透明杯都裝冷飲，白色保麗龍杯是裝熱飲，封口機放在茶區的左邊，收銀機跟放收據/垃圾的小垃圾桶也都有做喔。
傘店裡有長傘也有摺傘，東區有一家傘店還不錯，骨架壞了還可以拿回去送修喔。就算不買傘，看看店員頭上那臺冷氣，進去吹個免費冷氣也爽。
There are many flavors in the beverage store, and you can decide the details of drinks in your favorite way. They use different cups for cold and hot drinks. Remember you must finish purchasing before cash register or you will never get your tea.
In the umbrella store you can buy folding umbrellas or regular umbrellas. If you don't wanna buy it, you can still step into the store and get cool in summer.

再來就是攤販們啦，相信常去夜市的人不陌生，香腸啊滷味啊甜點啊烤肉啊，是不是想到就餓了呢，我承認我現還滿想吃的。
有發現到粉紅色的零件嗎，攤販最喜歡拿粉紅色的塑膠袋給你裝食物了，不過能的話還是不要拿喔，要愛護地球。
還有攤販中最衛生的就是香腸攤了，看看他的面罩戴的多齊全!口水絕對不會噴到食物上!
It's street vendors time! If you come to Taiwan, you can easily find them in the night markets. In my creation, I choose sausage, soya-mixed, dessert, and barbecue as behaviors of street vendors. Maybe you are confused with the pink parts in the stall, It is plastic bags that are used to carry foods. But the plastic bags used here are not bio-degradable, if not necessary, refusing taking it. We only have one Earth :)

建築也可以以不同的方式呈現喔!

每個細節都作得很好
但面對面擺在一起時卻好像被淹沒了有點可惜
不過夜市的感覺有做出來，超讚的！
